How we prepare these articles

Useful Information collects short, sourced answers to the questions the Turkish-speaking community in the UK asks most. To make it trustworthy, we explain how it works.

Where do the questions come from?

Questions are chosen from topics that come up again and again in community groups. No article names a person or a group or contains a phone number or any personal detail; questions are made general.

How is an article published?

  • AI may help write a first draft. The draft is only a suggestion and is not published.
  • An editor checks every figure, date and rule against an official source (such as GOV.UK, the NHS, SGK or the Consulate). Information without an official source is not published.
  • The article goes live with the sources it rests on and a “last checked” date.

How are articles kept up to date?

Rules and fees change often. Every article has a review period (6 months for topics that change often). When it runs out, the article shows a “may be out of date” notice and is checked again. If a rule has changed, the article is corrected or taken offline until it is.

What we do not do

  • We do not give an opinion on your personal situation or say who qualifies.
  • We do not fill in application forms, or give advice on individual cases in comments or private messages.
  • We do not predict outcomes, and we do not present proposals that are not decided as if they were final.
